This is our new baby kitten Tiara! (Her nickname is Tia) She was 5 weeks almost 6 in these photos. now she is turning 11 weeks tomorrow! She is very cute and gets into a lot of trouble! :)

How to make bars of soap more interesting

Are you tired of normal bars of soap? Try making home made soap balls!

What you need:

A bar of soap,
Cheese grater,
A bowl,
Water,
Food coloring (Opt.)

Take the bar of soap and grate the whole thing on the cheese grater. Fill the bowl with a little bit of water small drop of food coloring (Not too much), put a big handfuls of grated soap in the water and start forming a ball shape. It will take 24 hours to dry.

Notes & Tips:
Don't put to much food coloring or it might stain your hands when you use it. (Or you use a colored bar of soap instead)

Each soap bar should make about 2 soap balls.

They make great gifts!

My Cat Emmy

Here are some pictures of my silly cat Emmy. Her real name is Emerald, but we call her Emmy for short.
One day my family and I were sitting in the front room, and our garage was cracked open, all of a sudden this cat comes running down the hall (Emmy) we played with her and pet her, but then we put her outside because it was getting late and she wasn't ours at the time. The next morning we woke up and found her in our backyard sitting at the door, we let her in and took care of her. I thought this cat looked familiar, but I wasn't sure, lots of cats look alike. My Mum and I started to think of names incase she was stray and we could keep her, we thought of Milo because my rabbits names were food names too and she was the colour of Milo, but then Mum thought of Emerald because of her bright green eyes, I liked that much better so thats what we named her. Day after day Emmy kept on comming in our yard, so my Mum told me to take her out side and ask the neighbours if they knew were she lived, but no one knew where she lived. Then I suddenly remembered that one of my friends cats looked exactly like this one so I told my Dad and we went to ask if it was their cat. They said it was their cat Blinky and that they had another cat, and lost both of them and said thanks, but they were moving, and they weren't sure if they could have cats in their new house and if she came back we could keep her. My Mum and I couldn't wait so we cracked the garage and shook her food jar (She comes running if you shake her food), she came running up the drive way and Emmy was ours.

Wake up, Wake up, Wake up!

Here is my story called Wake up, Wake up, Wake up! I have written more story's in the past, but this is my favourite so far!

Isabelle layhalf awake in her bed, staring at the ceiling trying to remember whatday it was. It was something special, it wasn't her birthday was it?No it couldn't be, was it some sort of party? It couldn't be thateither. What could it be? Just then her alarm went off. That'sfunny, my alarm only goes off during the terms, and its schoolholiday isn't it? She askedherself. Oh! Duh! Its the first day back to school! I'mgonna be late! She thought asshe jumped out of bed and rushed to her closet. She got dressed in aplaid dress and shut her closet door. Only when something caught hereye. Of course! Her school uniform! She changed again then went downstairs to breakfast. Her little sister Ivy kept giggling at her. “Um,I don't think you want to wear that to school like that.” Her Mumsaid. She looked down to find that she had her school top onbackwards, and instead of her school shorts bright pink sweat pantsthat said “Snow Girl” onit, and she only had her socks on. Never get dressed halfasleep again! She yelled toherself in her head. She sighed and took another bite of her food.Ivy busted out laughing, Isabelle looked down again to find she wastrying to eat her yogurt with her butter knife, and was pouringtomato sauce in her milk. Isabelle ran up stairs without finishingher food to get ready. “The bus is here!” Mum called. Isabelleran outside forgetting about fixing her clothes and brushing herhair. Ivy got on first, she looked neat, as normal, then Isabelle goton and the whole bus busted out laughing. She remembered her clothesand hair and tried to keep walking forward. “Look at that girl withthe messy hair!” A girl called. Isabelle sat down at the veryback. The bus doors closed, there was no running away now.

Thebus pulled up in front of school and everyone got out. There was aroll call, when the teacher called Isabelle's name she called out“Here!” The teacher was not happy with the way Isabelle looked.She explained what happened. The teacher told her it was notacceptable and sent her to the office. She walked in and theHeadmaster looked at her in shock. Again, Isabelle explained whathappened. “You will have to wear the spare uniform shorts andshoes.” The headmaster sighed. The headmaster handed her theuniform. She walked to the toilets to change. She turned her toparound and put the shorts and shoes on. The shorts were so big, theylooked like pants, and the shoes were also to big, and looked likeclown shoes. She sighed and put her “Snow Girl” pants inher bag. She went back to the office, the headmaster wasn't happywith her uniform but said it would have to work. Isabelle went to herclasses.

Atthe end of the day she put her pants back on and gave the shorts andshoes back to the headmaster. On her way back to the bus she lookedat her report card. She got a B+. Not to bad! She thought toherself. She hoped on the bus and went home. She fell asleep on theway home and missed her house. She woke up when the bus was at itslast stop on the other side of town. “Oh No!” She cried. “Whatsthe matter?” The bus driver asked as the last person got off. “Thisisn't my stop! I missed my stop!” She cried. “Why didn't you getoff? I was wondering why you didn't get off with Ivy!” The busdriver said. “I'm so tired!” She yawned.

“BEEPBEEP BEEP!” Her alarm clock went off. “Oh good its just a dream!”She said to her self. She got up and got dressed in her schooluniform and got ready for school. She had a normal day, nothing likeher dream!
